What a wedding album does that a gallery can't
A wedding album is an edit — a curated sequence that tells the story of the day from morning to last dance, without the near-duplicates.
It's a physical object with weight and texture that a guest picks up without being asked.
It's the version of your wedding that gets handed down.
A folder of eight hundred images gets backed up and rarely opened; nobody sits on the sofa and scrolls a hard drive with their children.
The problem with digital-only
File formats and devices change.
The photos exist, but they're not present in your home.
In thirty years the gallery link may not resolve, but the album will still be on the shelf.
How we make yours
I make the first selection and design the layout, following the flow of the day.
You review it and we refine it together until the sequence feels right.
Then it's printed — fine-art paper, lay-flat binding so images can span the spread, a cover in linen, leather or a print. My album collections also include two smaller parent albums.
Choosing images for print
Screen images and print images aren't always the same set.
Some frames that scroll past quickly become the ones you linger on when they're large on paper.
I choose with the page in mind — rhythm, pacing, where the story breathes.
Timeline
An album adds time to delivery — typically three to eight months after the wedding, including your review rounds.
The final balance for album collections is tied to your approval of the design, so nothing is printed until you're happy.
