Elena got ready in bright rooms full of friends, the dress hanging from the stone wall of the farmhouse before she came down the narrow steps.
The ceremony was held on the lawn, guests on wooden chairs with white parasols against the sun, and children everywhere: two little girls in white walking with the couple, flower girls on the stairs and in the grass.
Dinner was laid on long tables on the lawn with Assisi above, and the evening turned into a party on the grass, with the cake cut under the lit town and dancing late into the night. Photographed in an editorial and documentary style, the gallery keeps the character of an Umbrian wedding: green, calm and full of family.
