Maria got ready at the estate: the dress held up under the pergola, lace buttoned one hook at a time by the women of the family, a few minutes in the garden among the agapanthus and the willows.
A vintage car took her to a baroque church, where she walked down the aisle with her father. Afterwards the car drove them into the countryside: an accordion player in the piazza, a kiss in front of an ancient Greek temple, pine groves in the late light.
Finally the estate's terrace above the sea at sunset, with the tables set among the palms. Photographed in an editorial and documentary style, the gallery keeps the feeling of a Sicilian wedding: generous with light and rich in texture.
