The bride got ready in a sunny glass veranda with her friends, glasses raised, shoes hanging from a tree, the lace gown hanging among the vines; portraits followed in a dark salon of gold-framed paintings.

The ceremony was held in a church decorated with peach and orange flowers, then the couple walked beneath the pines, her veil caught by the wind, to a terrace above the gulf. At Villa Balke they went down to the rocks by the sea at sunset.

Dinner was set at long tables with orange flowers, woven chargers and terracotta jugs, and the night turned into a full party with the band We Are Theater, the bride's lace skirt spinning on the dance floor and fireworks over the cake. Photographed in an editorial and documentary style, in colour and black and white.
