Alessandro and Valeria's Castello di Rocca Cilento wedding was set in a medieval castle on a hill above the Cilento, with a round stone tower and views that run for miles over the valleys of southern Campania.

The morning played out in the castle suites: a four-poster bed, the gown on a dress form, the bride laughing as it was laced, still lifes of red anthurium, shoes and invitations on terracotta.

After the ceremony the couple walked back through the castle gate. Portraits used the castle's own architecture and a touch of the tropics: a wicker peacock chair beneath banana plants, a triple-arched stone window, the infinity pool above the hills.

Dinner was served under a white canopy with string lights as the sun went down, with orange flowers, candles and red fan menus, followed by the cake on the lawn and fountains of sparks. Photographed in an editorial and documentary style, the gallery keeps the worn stone, warm light and calm of the Cilento.
