Vittorio & Anna

The morning was spent getting ready inside: the invitation, the shoes and a bottle of perfume on a dark table, lipstick in front of the mirror, the dress with its off-the-shoulder lace, the family gathered in the room, and Vittorio fastening his cufflinks by the curtain.

Outside, the villa is pink and covered in bougainvillea and ivy, and its paths lead through flowers, agaves and olive trees to a terrace that looks across the whole bay.

The tables were set under the olive trees with tall candles, blue and white vases and Sicilian ceramic heads, and after dinner the lights came on in the branches and the dancing began. Photographed in an editorial and documentary style, the gallery follows the day as it happened.
