Pietro and Marina's wedding day moved between two of the Amalfi Coast's most storied places. It began in Amalfi, where the couple walked the seafront promenade in the morning breeze and exchanged their vows inside the Duomo, stepping back out into a cloud of rice and applause on the cathedral's grand staircase. From there the celebration climbed to Ravello and the gardens of Villa Cimbrone, where the coastline opens out from the famous clifftop terrace and the light softens as the afternoon turns. The reception belonged to the garden. Tables were dressed with lemons, trailing greenery and hand-painted Amalfi ceramics; as the sky darkened, strings of warm light came on over the couple and the long dinner unfolded beneath them. Small details carried the same coastal thread — patterned tiles, ceramic tones, the blue horizon always somewhere in the frame.
