Pietro and Marina's Villa Cimbrone wedding moved between two of the Amalfi Coast's most storied places. The morning was spent in a hotel in Amalfi, with a curving staircase, cacti and a balcony over the harbour.

The bride's father walked her through the streets and across the crowded Piazza Duomo, and they married inside the Duomo di Amalfi; the couple left down the cathedral's grand staircase under a shower of rice, into a white vintage convertible.

From there the celebration climbed to Ravello and the gardens of Villa Cimbrone: portraits on the Terrace of Infinity among the marble busts, the Temple of Ceres, the pine avenue.

Dinner was set beneath the Gothic arches of the villa's crypt, followed by the cake and sparklers on the lawn. Photographed in an editorial and documentary style, the images hold the day as it happened: the noise of the piazza, the quiet of the terrace, the last dances of the night.
