Donato and Ilaria's Amalfi wedding took place at Le Nereidi, in the heart of town, with the cathedral and its long staircase at the centre of the day. Getting ready happened by an arched window in soft golden light, the gown displayed on the terrace with the sea behind it while the bridesmaids looked on. Then came the parts that only Amalfi does: the bride twirling as guests cheered outside the church, the couple leaving the cathedral through confetti and smiles, a walk through the historic streets as dusk settled over the pastel houses. Portraits on the cliffside caught the wind in her veil and the sea mist rising off the water. Photographed in an editorial and documentary style, the gallery holds the warmth and the noise of a wedding celebrated right in the middle of one of Italy's most iconic coastal towns.
